To the Editor:

Apparently Crystal Care filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Sept. 23 in federal bankruptcy court in St. Paul, with listed assets of between zero and $50,000.

According to a KSTP-ABC news report, Crystal Care Home Health Care has received more than $23 million in state funding over the past three years, as well as funding from the VA and numerous insurance companies.

The governor's office told KSTP that state officials are now working to ensure that all employees at the facility will be paid promptly and that patients will continue to get care.

If you're a worker and have a wage dispute, call the Department of Labor and Industry at (651) 284-5005. If you're a patient and need home health services, the state has a hotline at (651) 431-2670.
