Need some helping hands?

March 11, 2013
Fairmont Sentinel

To the Editor:

The Cardinal Connections program at Fairmont's Jr./Sr. High School is once again launching our spring Community Service Project. We are looking for individuals or businesses with an improvement project who could use an extra 15 hands of help this May.

Some past projects include yard work, gardening, landscaping, painting, garage cleanouts and social activities for daycares, youth and seniors. We have also done a comprehensive cleanup of city parks and worked on beautifying the town we are proud to live in.

The Service Day is planned for Friday, May 17, with May 24 as a possible rain date. If you have a project and would like us to give you a hand, we will have applications available at the school and on the school's website.

You can also phone in a project request to either of the project coordinators, Sara Gudahl or Chris Engelby, at the high school by calling (507) 238-4411

We look forward to hearing from you.
