TRIMONT — A Memorial Service for Kenneth Vernon Cutler, 82, of Trimont, Minn., will be 11 a.m., on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at First Lutheran Church in Trimont. A private family burial will be at First Lutheran Cemetery in rural Trimont. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at First Lutheran Church in Trimont.
Ken was called to his eternal rest on Wednesday morning, Nov. 12, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont, Minn. Memorials are preferred to Trimont Ambulance. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Kramer Funeral Home in Trimont, Sherburn and Welcome.

Kenneth Vernon Cutler was born on June 16, 1943, to Vernon and Faye (Armbrust) Cutler in Fairmont, Minn. He attended Trimont High School and graduated with the class of 1961. He was a member of First Lutheran Church. Following high school, he resided in rural Trimont and farmed. On Feb. 18, 1967, he was united in marriage to Kay Grussing in Trimont, Minn. They had three children: Connie, Nick and June. He raised beef cattle on his farm until the age of 70. He continued farming until moving off the farm in 2021 and moved into Trimont Amberfield Apartments. He moved to Temperance Lake Ridge in Sherburn in 2022.
Throughout Ken’s life, he enjoyed farming, raising cattle, going to cattle auctions in Nebraska and South Dakota, having coffee with the guys at the town elevator, attending movies, and going to Captain’s Getaway in Arnold’s Park, Iowa, to listen to music. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching college and NBA basketball tournaments, sprint car racing and political shows. Ken was an avid book reader and he enjoyed going to look at cars and machinery, and vacationing in New Braunfels, Texas.
He is survived by his three children; Connie Cutler of Watertown, S.D., Nick (Courtney) Cutler of Trimont, June Cutler (Robert Matthys) of Cottonwood; two grandchildren; Brenna Cutler of Trimont and Claire Cutler of Blue Earth; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and (Lila) Cutler of Trimont; brothers-in-law, Paul Grussing (Carolyn) Fairmont, Russ (Carol) Jensen of East Chain and Chris Brand (Angie) of Eau Claire, Wis.; six nieces and nephews, Wendi Russenberger (Duane) of Trimont, Ross Cutler (Melissa) of Trimont, Dale Jensen (Cyndi) of East Chain, Troy Jensen (Desiree) of East Chain, Lori Jensen of Fairmont, Matthew Grussing (Val) of Silver Spring, Md.; and many other cousins and relatives.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Faye Cutler; wife, Kay Cutler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Loraine Grussing; granddaughter, Cara Cutler Christians and other relatives.
