Sharon M. Tumbleson

REDMOND, Wash. — Sharon Mau Tumbleson, 82, a longtime resident of Redmond, Wash., passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2025, due to complications from pancreatic cancer.
Born on Oct. 1, 1942, in Fairmont, Minn., to Leo and Hazel Krusemark Mau, Sharon lived a life rich in family, friendship, and community involvement. She would have celebrated 60 years of marriage later this month with her beloved husband, Linus, who survives her.
Sharon was a devoted mother to her son, Lee (Kari), and daughter, Lori Leadley (Neil). She was a cherished grandmother to five grandchildren Austin (Chloe), Logan, Emma, Nicole & Mary and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Gentling (Kirk), and brother, Michael (Jolene). Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.
An avid enthusiast of games, Sharon enjoyed many hours of bridge and mahjong at the Tam O’Shanter Golf and Country Club. She was an avid bowler and golfer for many years. She was also very active in her church family at Overlake Park Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, Washington. Sharon loved to entertain; frequently hosting dinner parties for family and friends, and cocktail parties for her friends, creating countless cherished memories.
Sharon will be remembered for her warm hospitality, vibrant spirit, and dedication to those she loved.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Aug. 2, at Overlake Park Presbyterian Church, Bellevue Wash. and will include live streaming.
Memorials can be designated to cancer research or hospice care.
