Left to cherish his memory are children; daughters, Jessica Swapp of Mich., Ashton (Bryan) Lato of Cottage Grove; sons, Joshua (Erin) Swapp of the Savage Minn., and Joren (Emily) Swapp of Shakopee; brothers, James Fortuna of Hopkins, Robert Fortuna of Chaska, Carlo Fortuna of Calif.; sisters, Lilie (Charlie) Wenzel, and Nolita (Wade) Nelson of Estherville, Iowa, and his grandson Kollin, son of Josh.

Craig graduated from Fairmont High School in 1982. He went on to attend college at Southwestern VTI in Granite Falls in 1987. He worked as a machinist and enjoyed learning all the skills needed for the trade. In his spare time, Craig enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing and spending time with his children and grandson, Kollin, son of Josh.

Craig is preceded in death by his mother, Rosemarie; step-father, Rev Gordon Patterson; father, Robert Swapp; and brother, Franco.

There will be a small service for family members only. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, cards be sent to sister Lilie Wenzel at 504 North Park St Fairmont MN 56031. All donations will go to the cost of cremation.
