Jeanine Feddersen

ARMSTRONG — Jeanine Ellen Feddersen died Friday, April 16, 2021, at Valley Vue Care Center in Armstrong, at the age of 92 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong, Iowa, with Father Merlin Schrad officiating along with Deacon John Rudd. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday at the church. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Armstrong, Iowa.

Jeanine Ellen Feddersen was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Monterey, Minn., to James and Ella (Lockner) Huston. She graduated from Fairmont High School in 1946, before working in the office for Railway Motors until 1949. On Aug. 22, 1949, she was united in marriage to John Feddersen in Fairmont, Minn. The couple made their home in the rural Armstrong/Dolliver area where they raised their family and John farmed. She loved to golf and play cards, baking, cooking, and bowling. She also enjoyed wintering in Arizona. Most important to Jeanine was spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Armstrong. Left to cherish Jeanine’s memory are her daughter, Sharon Curtis of Colorado; son, Tom Feddersen (Brenda) of Armstrong; five grandchildren, Wendy Higgins, Sarah Walter, Jacob Kesler, Travis Feddersen, Tyler Feddersen; and four great-grandchildren, Connor, Chase, Anna Higgins, and Rhett Feddersen.
