Winton J. Johnson
FAIRMONT — A funeral service for Winton “Sam” J. Johnson, 76, of Fairmont, will be 1 p.m. March 9, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, with military honors provided by Lee C. Prentice American Legion Post 36 and Martin County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1222. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont.
Johnson died Sunday morning, Feb. 28, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minn. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. March 8, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service March 9 at the funeral home. Due to COVID restrictions, masks are required and the number of attendees will be monitored. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
