Marcelyn Miller

BLUE EARTH — Marcelyn “Marcy” Miller, age 79, of Blue Earth, passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, at Parker Oaks in Winnebago, with her loving family by her side. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be left at www.pattonfh.com

Marcy was born June 22, 1941, in Buffalo Center, Iowa, to Arlowe and Thelma (Letcher) Erdahl. She graduated from Lakota High School in 1959. On Nov. 17, 1961, she married the love of her life, Carl Miller, in Elmore. The couple owned and operated the Broken Arrow Resort in Alexandria for a few years before returning to Blue Earth. Marcy worked at Telex for many years. She enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, music, singing with her sisters and bingo. What brought her the greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and laugh and will be dearly missed by many. Left to cherish such wonderful memories are her children, Shelli (Patrick) Ziegler of Blue Earth, Carl (Susan) Miller of Winnebago, and Shanda (Jay) Miller of Owatonna; her grandchildren, Rob (Nikki) Ziegler, Sydni Ziegler, Marissa (Travis) Jacobsen, Clinton (Brandi) Miller, Miranda Harding, Mitchell (Amanda) Harding, Hope Stubbles; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Bob) Price, and Connie Wiese; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; son, Mitchell; sister, Arlowyn Erdahl; brother-in-law, Arno Wiese; three sisters-in-law; and three brothers-in-law.
