Ronald M. Gregory

JACKSON — Services for Ronald “Ron” M. Gregory, 72, of Jackson, will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Jackson. Burial, with full military honors by Jackson American Legion Post 130, will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Peterburg.

Gregory died Friday evening, Nov. 6, 2020, at his home in Jackson. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church in Jackson. Following the burial, there will be an Irish wake at the Gregory residence, 60 River Road in Jackson. Due to COVID restrictions and for the safety of all, please practice safe social distancing, use hand sanitizer, and stay at home if not feeling well. For those entering the church for the visitation and funeral service, it’s requested to wear a facial mask. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn is in charge of arrangements. A recording of Ron’s service will be posted on his obituary page on Sunday for viewing.

Ronald “Ron” Michael Gregory was born April 7, 1948, near Petersburg, Minn., the son of Willard “Bill” and Lydia (Hvezda) Gregory. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.

Survivors include: his wife, Louise Gregory of Jackson; daughters, Ann Brandt of Jackson, Kate Gulbrandson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; his son, Mike Gregory of Luverne; four grandchildren; sister, Gaylene Nefzger of Rock Island, Ill.; brothers, Roger Gregory of Dunedin, Fla., and Duane Gregory of St. Cloud.
