DOLLIVER — A funeral service for Donald D. Gage, 88, of rural Dolliver will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Estherville. Military rites by VFW Post 3388 and American Legion Post 91. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery, rural Armstrong.

Gage died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at his home in rural Dolliver, surrounded by his family.

Henry-Olson Funeral Home in Estherville is in charge of arrangements.

Donald D. Gage, Jr. was born April 1, 1932, in rural Kossuth County, Iowa, son of Donald H. and Beulah (DeVary) Gage. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1954.

Survivors include: his wife of 62 years, Arlene Gage of Dolliver; children, Mike Gage of Dolliver, and Julie Collison of Algona; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Gertrude Shipley of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
