BRANDON, S.D. — A memorial service for Lee Allen Haack, 73, of Brandon, formerly of Fairmont, will be 11 a.m. July 23 at Blessed Redeemer Lutheran Church in Brandon. Due to COVID-19, social distancing with masks is encouraged. Burial will take place at a later date in Union Cemetery, Pomeroy, Iowa.

Haack died Thursday, June 25, 2020, at home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service July 23 at the church in Brandon.

Heartland Funeral Home in Brandon is in charge of arrangements.

Lee Allen Haack was born Sept. 27, 1946, in Pomeroy, Iowa, to Herman and Marie (Gutz) Haack. He served in the Iowa Air National Guard.

Survivors include: his wife, Elaine of Brandon; daughter, Jessica Toland of Brandon; son, Matthew Haack of Sioux Falls; three grandchildren; and siblings, Marcella Desormey of Minneapolis, Charles Haack of Spring Hill, Fla., Carol Ford of Bellevue, Neb., Judy Binzen of Thomson, Ill.
