BUTTERFIELD — A celebration of life service for James “Jim” A. Hovdet, 85, of Butterfield will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss Park in Butterfield. To access the livestream service, visit Facebook.com/butterfieldcbc 15 minutes prior to the start of the service. Those in attendance are asked to bring a lawn chair.

Hovdet died Saturday evening, June 13, 2020, at Our House Hospice of Murray County in Slayton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at Voss Park.

Kramer Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
