BANCROFT — A funeral service for Harold D. Warner will be 2 p.m. today at Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church in Ledyard.

Interment will be in Highland Home Cemetery, Ledyard, with military honors conducted by Matzener-Estle Legion Post 675 of Ledyard and Seely Walsh Post 425 of Whittemore.

Warner died Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Stonebridge Suites in Bancroft, Iowa. Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. today. Both the funeral service and burial service will be livestreamed on Oakcrest Funeral Services’ Facebook page. Social distancing protocols will be followed at the visitation, funeral and graveside services. The family would appreciate masks be worn.

Harold Duane Warner was born Sept. 30, 1923, in Fenton, Iowa, to Asa and Lena (Nemmers) Warner. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was honorably discharged.

Survivors include: his daughters, Sandy Johnson of Algona, Becky Johnson of Bancroft; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
