TRIMONT — A private family service for Gregory Lee Mendenhall, 72, of Trimont, formerly of Mitchell, S.D., will be held at a later time.

Mendenhall died Sunday morning, May 31, 2020, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

Gregory Lee Mendenhall was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Kankakee County, Ill., to Merrill “Red” and Rose Mary Mendenhall.

Survivors include: his children, Tammy Borntrager of Trimont, Sam Mendenhall of Northrop, James Mendenhall of Truman, Kevin Mendenhall of Mitchell, S.D., Crystal Mendenhall of Wisconsin, Sarah Mendenhall of Plankinton, S.D.; 16 grandchildren; 11great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Mendenhall of Mitchell, S.D.; and sister, Cathy Clemensen of Iowa.
