JACKSON — Donald “Don” Elmer Dahlin, 87, of Jackson died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at the Sanford Jackson Medical Center. A private family burial will take place today at the West Belmont Cemetery. A memorial service for Don will be held at a later date.

Osterberg Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Elmer Dahlin was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Dalesburg, S.D., son of Elmer and Gladys (Anderson) Dahlin. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1955 and was honorably discharged.

Survivors include: his wife, Marilyn; sons, Michael Dahlin of Sioux Falls, Eric Dahlin of Jackson; daughter, Sonja Wilson of Tomball, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Erickson of Jackson, Mary Turner of Worthington, and Diane Sather of Sioux Falls.
