Bruce William Zingler was born Dec. 1, 1961, in Pipestone, Minn., son of Murray Edward and Eunice Esther (Beack) Zingler. He attended school in Pipestone and graduated from Pipestone High School. Following his graduation, Bruce went on to further his education attending the Vocational College in Anoka, Minn.

On Dec. 1, 1981, Bruce was united in marriage to Linda Wartner in Pipestone. Together the couple made their home across southern and central Minnesota, including Pipestone, Anoka, Marshall, Albert Lea, Sauk Rapids, Blue Earth, Winnebago and Fairmont. They were blessed with three children: Kyle, Erik and Katrina.

Bruce worked various jobs throughout his career. He worked at Shopko, Subway as a manager, Elmore Academy, Continental Carbonic and, most recently, found his passion in helping others as an EMT, serving the communities of Blue Earth, Elmore and Winnebago.

In his spare time, Bruce jumped at the chance to spend time outdoors. He loved being out in nature, being a sound tech, and cherished time spent with family and friends camping, fishing, playing cards and shooting at the gun range. Bruce took great pride in keeping a nice lawn and often in the summer months he could be found on his riding mower making sure the grass was perfect.

The family requests memorials be left in Bruce’s name to Winnebago EMS and the Parkinson’s Foundation.
