TAMPA, Fla. — Paul Alan Gesche, age 73, passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, in Tampa, Fla. A celebration of life for Paul will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at Life Family Church in Blue Earth.

Paul was born July 17, 1946, in Blue Earth, Minn., the son of Ivan and Delna (Schultz) Gesche. He graduated from Elmore High School in 1964 and Mankato State University in 1968. He then served proudly in the U.S. Air Force until his discharge in 1972.

Paul married Rebecca Weise on Oct. 28, 1972. They settled in Blue Earth and had three children. In 2013, Paul and Rebecca moved to Florida.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years of marriage, Rebecca A. (Weise) Gesche; children, Dean P. (Jennifer) Gesche, Eric P. Gesche, Melissa A. (William) Sweeney; brother, Gregg (Mary) Gesche; his grandchildren, Griffin, Gavin, Grady, Xander and Zadek; and father-in-law, Harold Weise.
