Shirley Striemer
FAIRMONT – Funeral Services for Shirley Striemer, age 89, of Fairmont, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Burial will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Shirley passed away on Thursday morning, June 27, 2019, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Shirley Lorraine Striemer was born on December 18, 1929, to Arthur and Wilhelmina (Van Heumen) Johnson in Fairmont, MN. She received her education from Fairmont Public Schools.
She is survived by two children, Susan Walters and Bruce Striemer; five grandchildren, Erin Farland, Mike Goodell, Brent Goodell, Christopher Goodell and Hailie Striemer; sister-in-law, Betty Striemer; brother-in-law, Kenneth Dreke; nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Striemer; son-in-law, Dwight Walters; sisters, Delores Dreke and Judith Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Gladys Lubenow, Harold Striemer and James Miller.
