WINNEBAGO — Keith Cooper, 56, of Winnebago, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at his home. A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Community Covenant Church in Huntley, with Rev. Michael Baker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service today at the church. 

Keith was born in Leesburg, Va., to Charles and Katherine Cooper, and growing up he did many odd jobs until settling into the construction industry.

In 1997, having moved to Minnesota, Keith began working in the ethanol industry and would continue in that for nearly 21 years.

Keith was a wonderful and loving husband; he was a great father, and an awesome brother.

Having a great love for motorcycles, he enjoyed riding whenever and wherever he could. He liked to fish and did a little hunting in his day and he thoroughly enjoyed doing his wood burning projects. He gardened, loved going for walks, hiking and being outdoors in general, and could never get his fill of Southern rock.

Keith is survived by his wife, Ronda; his son, Lucas and special friend Liz; siblings, Jeannie (John Coates), Kathy (Phil Casavent), Kenny (Cindy Cooper); sisters-in-law, Jody (Bryan Roarson), Sheila (Bruce Helland), Michele (Clint Winter), Mary Beth (Monty Schaal); father-in-law, Arden Kramersmeier; along with many nephews, nieces and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Katherine; brother, David; nephew, Dillion; mother-in-law, Geraldine Schaal; and brother-in-law, Monty Schaal.
