ALPHA — A Celebration of Life service for Shirley Ann Bramstedt, 79, of rural Alpha, formerly of Blooming Prairie and Dunnell, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alpha. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Petersburg Township, Jackson County.

Bramstedt died Wednesday afternoon, May 22, 2019, at St. Mark’s Living in Austin. Kramer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Shirley Ann Sands was born Dec. 3, 1939, in Estherville, Iowa, to Meinhardt and Helen (Jurries) Sands.

Survivors include: her children, Marla Preuss of Dunnell, Glen Bramstedt of Randall, Rodney Bramstedt of Blooming Prairie; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Ronald Sands of rural Alpha.
