MITCHELL, S.D. — Funeral services for Rick Sanders, 59, of Mitchell, S.D., formerly of Truman, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.

Sanders died tragically on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, surrounded by family and friends. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Bittner Funeral Chapel of Mitchell is assisting the family with arrangements.

Rick was born Feb. 14, 1959, in Madelia to Richard and Opal Sanders.

Survivors include: his children, Levi Sanders of Brandon, S.D., Crystal Nutt of Monticello, Ethan Sanders of St. Paul; five grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Firchau of Denton, Texas, Barbara Sanders of Indianola, Iowa, and Laurie Holman of Sauk Centre.
