BLUE EARTH — Harriet Amelia Ehrich, age 96, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Russ Jacobsen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Harriet was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Verona Township, Minn., the daughter of Irwin and Amelia (King) Gartzke. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1939.

On June 29, 1940, she married Alvin Ehrich in Blue Earth.

Harriet is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Marvin) Sladek of Le Center, Karen Osberg of Elmore, Audrey (Donald) Bleess of Blue Earth, Kristy (Jody Larson) Johnson of Alden; son, Barry (Deb) Ehrich of Blue Earth; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; brothers, Harold, Roland, Floyd, Vernon; sisters, Opal, Fran; and grandson, Paul Ehrich.

Mom and Dad are doing the last dance for the rest of their lives with the Six Fat Dutchman together forever.

Memorials have been established in Harriet’s name.
