Delores M. Daleske

CEYLON – A Celebration of Life service for Delores M. Daleske, 82, of Ceylon, MN will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon. Visitation will be 5:00 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be at a later date in Lake Belt Township Cemetery near Ceylon.

Delores passed away Saturday afternoon, November 19, 2016 at the Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements for the family.

Delores Mae (Nutt) Daleske was born on April 5, 1934 in Fairmont, MN the daughter of Ray and Rose (Prochniak) Nutt. She attended Fairmont High School. While in school she worked at the A & W Drive Inn. She was united in marriage to Karl Daniel Daleske on August 10, 1952 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon. They were one of the first couples married in the church. Delores loved gardening, crocheting, crossword puzzles and bingo. Most of all she loved her family and loved to be around them. Karl passed away on April 12, 2006. Earlier this year, Delores entered the Trimont Healthcare Center.

She is survived by four daughters, Teresa Johnson (Gary), Linda Bakke (Olin), Kathy Anderson (Sam), Vicki Smith (Scott); seven grandchildren, Jessica Brown (Casper), Jeremy Gibson (Abby), Justin Gibson (Beth Paris), Jason Bakke, Carl Hughes (Julie), Daniel Smith, Nicole Smith; four great grandchildren, Michael, Alysha and MiKayla Casias, Trinity Gibson; many step grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mary Klopp and Ardis Nutt; brother-in-law, Martin Rettig; special family friends, Jerry and Pauline Gibson and their large family; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Rose Nutt; husband, Karl Daleske; two brothers, Donald and Richard Nutt; and granddaughter, Stacey Jean Hughes.

The family would like to thank everyone at the Trimont Healthcare Center for their kindness shown and great care of Delores.
