Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be Matt Lange, a recipient of the ‘4 Under 40 program, which recognizes up and coming leaders in Martin County, who will talk about his community involvement. The public is invited.

Red Rock plans art events this week

Red Rock Center will host a gallery walk with a scavenger hunt and make and take projects from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont. Walk-ins welcome. Also, they will have an abstract painting class on canvas beginning 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont. There is a fee. Registration is required by calling (507) 235-9262.

Knights to sponsor Friday fish dinner

Fairmont Knights of Columbus will sponsor a fish boil dinner from 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 920 E. 10th St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of all-you-can-eat codfish, baby potatoes, pearl onions, coleslaw, French bread, dessert, juice and coffee. A $15 donation is suggested. Proceeds will benefit the Orphan Grain Train, Veterans Services and other local organizations. Everyone is welcome to attend.
