Donate school supplies in Truman

Every Wednesday in September the Prairieland Solid Waste Facility in Truman is accepting household hazardous waste, appliances, and electronics from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The HHW is FREE, but appliances or electronics are $15 each. If you have questions phone (507)776-3232.

If you would like to donate school supplies for students at Truman Public School, you may drop them off at Elizabeth Chevrolet. They have a list of the supplies needed as well as the school’s website.

Tomorrow is College Colors Days. I bet they will bring back smiles of all your fun times.

Truman City Council meets at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday. This is due to Labor Day.

Happy Anniversary to Scott and Betty Wink on Sunday. They were married on Sept. 5, 1976. May you enjoy many more.
