Pancake breakfast set for Sunday
CEYLON — Ceylon Fire Department Relief Association will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at Legends II in Ceylon. It will be an all-you-can-eat brunch of scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, ham, sausage, juice and coffee. If you’re unable to attend and would like to donate, please mail checks to the association at PO Box 201, Ceylon, MN 56121. Thank you for your continued support of the fire department.
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have their usual 5:30 p.m. Saturday service tonight. They will also have communion. Area residents are encouraged to attend. St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will have 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday with communion. They will follow COVID protocols in both churches and Wilbert will continue to have communion at the communion railing as part of the service.
The railing is sanitized between families as part of the protocol. Members and area residents are urged to attend services. Also on Sunday, the other Circle of Faith congregations will have services, with St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon at 8:30 a.m., while Trinity Lutheran in Welcome and Waverly Lutheran Church, north of Welcome, to both hold 10:30 a.m. services. Area residents are welcome at any of these services.
