Christmas Eve services will happen

TRUMAN — If you were wondering why you heard sirens, saw flashing lights and decorated vehicles, it was Santa coming to town. Thank you to everyone that participated in Santa’s arrival.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Truman will have a 5 p.m. candlelight Christmas Eve service, and a Christmas Day service at 9 a.m. with Holy Communion.

Trinity Lutheran Church will have a Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m., which will be online only and will steam on their Facebook page, trinitylutherantruman.

This is a season to come together across the miles or just down the street as distance knows no boundaries when connections are made. Visit with your loved ones virtually this year. Call Heartland Senior Living to set up your video visit with your loved one. To schedule and arrange a time for your video visit, contact Dani Williams at (507) 776-2031.

Be sure to listen to KNUJ AM 860 radio from New Ulm at 3:15 p.m. on Monday to catch up with the latest news about Truman, presented by Mayor Lynn.

This Christmas let us know the reason for the season, let there be joy in every heart, love in every home and peace in every corner of the world.
