WELCOME — Welcome City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

There is always a time for public comments at the beginning of each meeting with no prior reservation.

Area churches continue in-person worship hours with social distancing protocol.

Circle of Faith congregations of Waverly Lutheran Church north of Welcome and St. Peter Church in Ceylon will host services at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, while Trinity Lutheran in Welcome will hold its service at 10:30 a.m. They also have video services.

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome will hold services 9 a.m. on Sundays in August and 9:30 a.m. Sundays in September.
