Ceylon Fire Department and EMTs were called to a fire in Ceylon on Tuesday evening. They thank the fire departments from Dunnell, Welcome and Sherburn for their help in fighting the house fire in that frigid and windy weather.

Monetary donations for the Kennedy family that lost everything can be dropped off at the Legends 2 Bar and Grill in Ceylon.

Ceylon Area First non-profit will offer a full Thanksgiving meal to those who are alone or cannot make their own meal.

Actually, anyone who wants to come and eat the meal is welcome.

Because of space limitations at the Ceylon Fitness Center (the former city hall), reservations are important. Just call (507) 399-4634 or go to the Facebook page at CEYLONAREAFIRST.

Donations are accepted and can be monetary, food or help.

They would like anyone who wants to dine and enjoy fellowship to make a reservation and join them Thanksgiving Day.
