St. Paul’s United Church of Christ will have Sunday service at 9 a.m.

Circle of Faith congregations at St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon and Trinity Lutheran in Welcome will have 8:30 a.m. services.

Waverly Lutheran Church north of Welcome will have Wednesday evening services 6:30 p.m. in August.

Area residents are welcome to join these congregations for services.

Senior citizens will meet for a noon potluck meal on Monday at the Welcome Legion. Area senior citizens are welcome to join them for good food and fellowship.

Tuesday coffee hours for August will be 8:30-10 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn. Area residents are welcome for great coffee, treats and good fellowship.

Welcome City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. All members are urged to attend. There is always a time for public comments at the beginning of these meetings.
