Summerfest coming up

CEYLON — Circle of Faith parishes offer a reminder that their summer schedule is in effect.

During June, services will be held 8:30 a.m. Sundays at St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon and Waverly Lutheran north of Welcome. Trinity Lutheran of Welcome congregation will have their service 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.

All area residents are invited to join them for services.


Tuesday coffee hours in June continue from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn.

Also, Thursday coffee hours will be 8:30-10 a.m. at Legends 2 in Ceylon.


St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will host a salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 30. Assorted salads, bars and beverage will be available for a free will donation.

The LWML ladies will use proceeds from this event for their mission projects throughout the year.

The public is invited.


Upcoming events include:

o Ceylon Summerfest will be held June 29 with the “Farm Rock” band and street dance; an antique car and tractor show; bean bag tournament; vendors and food vendors; and a parade.
