Kids in the Kitchen is calling all mini chefs from kindergarten through fourth grade for a wild time at a jungle-themed kid’s class. It will be held 1-4 p.m. and the cost of the class is $15. You will choose your design and go home with a sign PLUS your reusable silk screen transfer. Participants must register before Saturday by emailing Laura at laura@brusheddesignco.com. Truman Public Library summer reading program “A Universe of Stories” begins the first week of June so stop by the library to get a free book to kick off the program. Storytime is 3 p.m. every Wednesday followed by a fun free craft also held at the library.
