CEYLON — Ceylon Community Day auction and citywide rummage sales will be held today, and the weather should be good. At least there will not be icicles on the equipment being sold.

Please have a safe and happy Easter on Sunday. Area churches have scheduled special Easter services.

Our Savior’s Lutheran in Ceylon will have its usual 5:30 p.m. Saturday service for its Easter service, with an Easter lunch after the service. St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will have a breakfast from 7:45-9 a.m. Sunday and its festival service at 9:30 a.m. There will be children’s activities from 8:15-9:15 a.m. Circle of Faith parishes will each have an Easter service. Trinity Lutheran in Welcome will have a 7 a.m. sunrise service with a breakfast to follow the service. St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon will have an 8:30 a.m. service. Waverly Lutheran north of Welcome will have a 10:30 a.m. service for Easter.

Area residents are welcome to join any of these congregations.

Join friends and neighbors for coffee and treats at the Tuesday coffee hours held 8:30-10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Trimont and from 8:30-10 a.m. Thursday at Legends 2 in Ceylon.
