Easter egg hunt planned

TRUMAN — Following is the upcoming schedule for Holy Week:

o Church of Christ — 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday service with communion; Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m.

o St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church — 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday Divine service with holy communion; 7 p.m. Good Friday service of darkness; Truman-area LCMS Easter Vigil Service 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Fieldon; Easter Day Divine service with holy communion at 7:30 a.m., followed by an Easter breakfast.

o Trinity Lutheran Church — 9:30 a.m. Maundy Thursday worship service with communion, with coffee, goodies and fellowship to follow; 7 p.m. Good Friday worship service with communion; 8:45 a.m. Easter Sunday worship service with communion.

Join the Truman Sorority Easter egg hunt 10 a.m. Saturday. Children ages 2 to 10 can come and hunt for eggs at the Truman High School football field. Bring your own basket/container.

Maybe you’ll even see the Easter Rabbit.

Truman Lions Club burger bash will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the Truman Community Building. The meal includes a delicious burger or two, condiments, beans, chips and a beverage.

“Truman Time” will be heard on KNUJ AM radio from New Ulm at 3:15 p.m. Monday. Bethanie will give us an update about events happening in Truman.

Registration for Hy-Vee Kids in the kitchen is due by April 25. Class size is limited to 13. The cost is $8 per person. Abby Kipfer will be at the Truman High School home ec room from 4:30-5:30 p.m. May 1 to give kids the opportunity to taste new foods and make some delicious yet healthy snacks while learning about nutrition and kitchen safety.
