TRUMAN — Truman City Council meets 5:30 p.m. Monday.

The 2019 Board of Appeal and Equalization will be held at this time. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified. If you have any questions or concerns about your property, please attend.

Truman School Board will meet 6 p.m. Monday. All meetings are open to the public.

Wednesday is recycling day. Please place your recycling container curbside by 7 a.m. with the front facing the street.

Following is the schedule for Holy Week at Truman-area churches:

Church of Christ — Maundy Thursday service with communion at 7 p.m. and Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m.

St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church — Maundy Thursday Divine service with holy communion at 7 p.m., Good Friday service of darkness at 7 p.m., Truman area LCMS Easter Vigil service 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Fieldon, and Easter Day Divine service with holy communion 7:30 a.m., and Easter breakfast to follow.

Trinity Lutheran Church — Maundy Thursday worship service with communion 9:30 a.m., and coffee, goodies and fellowship to follow.

Good Friday worship service with communion at 7 p.m., Easter Sunday worship service with communion at 8:45 a.m.
