CEYLON — There will be a cribbage tournament today, beginning with 1:15 registration, with play to follow at the Legends 2/Legion building in Ceylon. There is a charge.

Ceylon Fire Relief Association will sponsor an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday in the banquet room at Legends 2 in Ceylon. The cost is a donation. Proceeds will go toward the Ceylon Summer Festival.

The menu includes pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage and beverage.

Ceylon City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. All members are urged to attend.

Those who love to quilt will meet Wednesday and Thursday in the basement at St. Peter Lutheran Church to make quilts for missions. They usually begin around 9 a.m. each day. Anyone interested in helping is welcome. If you’ll stay for the afternoon, please bring a sack lunch.

The ladies group from St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will meet a week later than usual and will share a noon potluck meal with spouses and anyone who comes to share on Feb. 21. All members of the congregation and dual congregation of Our Savior’s from Ceylon are welcome. They will have their meeting following the meal.
