ST. JAMES — A 35-year-old Marinette, Wis., man is dead following a two-vehicle crash along Highway 60 in Watonwan County that occurred about 10 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol:

Derek Arthur Anderson was driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee east along Highway 60 in St. James Township when he entered a construction zone, but missed a lane change. Anderson’s vehicle collided head-on with a 2015 Jeep Cherokee driven by Lisa Jennie Brown, 44, of Sioux Falls.

Brown was transferred to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

Anderson was not wearing a seat belt.

Alcohol did not play a role in the accident.
