WELCOME — The 2018 Martin County Relay for Life will be held 3 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Martin County Fairgrounds in Fairmont.

Join them for survivor celebrations, silent and live auction, a meal, opening ceremonies, caregiver walk, band performances, food and games at campsites, hourly theme laps, walking laps, 5K, luminaries and closing ceremony. Sounds like a fun, very special celebration of life.

You don’t have to have a team to enjoy the events and support the survivors and caregivers and remember those who lost their fight against this terrible disease. Help save lives from cancer by supporting the Relay for Life.

This coming week is the last week of June and the Valero Renewable Relay for Life fundraisers will end this month.

Circle of Faith parishes will have one last Wednesday service for the month at 6:30 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon.

The next week will begin the month of July so the Wednesday evening services will be held 6:30 p.m. at Waverly Lutheran Church north of Welcome.

Trinity Lutheran in Welcome and St. Peter in Ceylon will have 8:30 a.m. Sunday services during July.
