The first meeting for planning Truman Days 2018 is 7 p.m. Sunday at Truman City Hall meeting room.

Please consider volunteering for helping this year. Many of the past volunteers are retiring after this year, which could mean the end of Truman Days as it has been known.

Volunteers are needed to help this year with the hope of taking over various parts of Truman Days next year. Volunteers are especially needed on the parade committee, Little Miss/Mr. Truman program, sweepstakes drawing, softball tournament, overall chairperson, and Graf Park cleanup during Truman Days. Can you help? If so come to the meeting or call Mel Breitbarth at (507) 776-2530.

n

Lewisville Legion Auxiliary chicken supper will be 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lewisville Legion.

n

Truman City Council meets 5:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall. These meetings are open to the public.

Be sure to mark March 24 for the Cub Scout Carnival that will be held 4-7 p.m. at the Truman Community Building.

Tickets will be sold at the door for 25 cents each or five for $1. There will be a fish pond, pop toss, duck pond, Jacob’s ladder, cake walk and more games to enjoy, plus a concession stand.
