Busy Saturday in the works

WELCOME — Saturday will be a busy day for the area.

In the morning, there is a benefit pancake feed from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Martin County West High School in Sherburn. Free will donations will help Rachel Schafer with expenses incurred while she has had kidney illness, dialysis and open heart surgery.

Rachel is a MCW graduate and daughter of Phil and Julie (Thiesse) Schafer.

Sherburn Lions will serve pancakes and there will be a bake sale with Christmas goodies.
