Dalton L. Potter, 22, of Fairmont; Margaret L. Fransen, 77, of Alpha; each fined $135.

Driving after revocation — Angela R. Kramer, 37, of Sherburn; Joseph R. Simenson, 29, of Crook, Colo.; each fined $285.

Sarah L. Fonseca, 39, of St. Paul was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $360. Additional charge of speeding was dismissed.

Craig A. Groshens, 60, of Welcome was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $810, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years supervised probation, attend MADD impact panel, no same or similar, complete chemical assessment and follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.

Brandon L. Loeschen, 39, of Granada was convicted on two separate charges of speeding; fined $145 for the first charge and $225 for the second. Also convicted of windshield covered with frost or steam to prevent proper vision; fined $125.Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.

Matthew F. Overby, 32, of Welcome was convicted of fourth-degree operate motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, attend MADD impact panel, no same or similar, complete chemical assessment and follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing. Additional charges of driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type, and uninsured vehicle-driver violation, were both dismissed.

Derek L. Klein, 38, of Seattle, Wash. had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $145, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.

George Tellez, 46, of Fairmont was convicted of driving without a valid drivers license; fined $100. Additional charges of operate vehicle with an expired registration, and failure to stop at stop signs or stop lines at entrance to thru highway, were both dismissed.

Jaedon L. Erickson, 25, of Welcome had a charge of reckless driving-drives consciously disregarding a substantial or unjustifiable risk continued for dismissal; one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no moving violations, no same or similar.
