Adam M. Windschitl, 30, of St. James received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a charge carry/possess a pistol without a permit in a public place; fined $585, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, complete an updated firearms safety course and provide proof of completion to agent, no use of mood-altering chemicals unless prescribed by a licensed physician and if chemical dependency assessment recommends no use of alcohol then must abstain from alcohol as well, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of possess ammo of any firearm-user of controlled substances, hunting-illegal transport of firearm in a motor vehicle, dangerous weapons-metal knuckles/switch blade, failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, were all dismissed.

Emmanuel Fonchin III, 34, of Oakdale was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of speeding; fined $200.
