Failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle — Jennifer Jo Clifford, 65, of Welcome; fined $285.

James G. Vodovnik, 42, of Hastings received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $500, sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, remain law-abiding, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations of evaluation, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of possess over 1.4 grams of marijuana in motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited, were both dismissed.

Emariela Rosario Torres, 26, of Fairmont was convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/noisy/obscene; fined $135. sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no contact with victim(s), no same or similar. Additional charge of fifth-degree assault-inflict or attempt bodily harm was dismissed.

Danielle M. Schultz, 32, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol content 0.08 within two hours; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, attend MADD impact panel and pay all fees, complete chemical assessment and follow recommendations of evaluation, no same or similar, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, and operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, were both dismissed.

Terry L. Adams, 56, of Sherburn had a charge of reckless driving-drives consciously disregarding a substantial or unjustifiable risk continued for dismissal; one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no driving while on probation.

Amber L. Sathoff, 36, of Shakopee was convicted on a felony charge of identity theft-transfers/possesses/uses identity of other person; commit to Commissioner of Corrections 80 months, give a DNA sample when directed, pay restitution on all counts, restitution reserved and county attorney to file certificate of restitution within 60 days, any fees can be taken from any prison earnings. Additional felony charges of aiding and abetting identity theft-transfers/possesses/uses identity of other person, receiving stolen property, aiding and abetting receiving stolen property, possession or sale of stolen or counterfeit check, aiding and abetting possession or sale of stolen or counterfeit check, financial transaction card fraud-receive/possess two or more, aiding and abetting financial transaction card fraud-receive or possess two or more, and a misdemeanor charge of driving after revocation were all dismissed.
