Mark J. McGregor, 44, of Fairmont was convicted of obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer; fined $585, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 87 days for one year, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service two days for indeterminate, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Also convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 87 days for one year, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service two days for indeterminate, no same or similar, follow all recommendations of the chemical dependency evaluation completed 10/15/19, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state,, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of fourth-degree assault of a peace officer, and third-degree driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test, were both dismissed.

Roel Gallardo, 44, of no address given, was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $835, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 348 days for two years, credit for time served 17 days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service two days for indeterminate, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, follow the discharge recommendations of Oakridge Treatment Center in Rochester, enroll in outpatient treatment program within 30 days of sentencing, complete domestic abuse program in Albert Lea or the Southern MN offender education program in Mankato, costs of the class may offset the cost of fines, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional felony charges of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and misdemeanor charges of violation of DANCO, and domestic abuse-violate Order for Protection, were all dismissed.
