Nickolas H. Willer, 31, of Fairmont was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of unlawful deposit of garbage, litter or like; fined $100. Also convicted of possess or sale small amount of marijuana-fail to comply with sentence; fined $100. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited; fined $50.

Larry J. Furland, 45, of Minneapolis received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail 12 days, credit for time served 12 days, three years supervised probation, cooperate with interstate transfer process, no not reside with victim in domestic abuse file, successfully complete outpatient treatment at Micha House and follow all aftercare, complete domestic abuse counseling/treatment as directed by agent, mood-altering chemicals, random testing, report all changes in treatment status to agent within 48 hours, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Also was convicted of domestic assault; sentenced to jail 21 days, credit for time served 21 days. Additional felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation, and a misdemeanor charge of operate motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, were both dismissed.

Justin D. Joel, 30, of Mankato was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $835, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 363 days for two years, credit for time served two days, two years supervised probation, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, no contact with victim(s), Domestic No Contact (DANCO), enroll and complete the Domestic Abuse Program in Albert Lea or the Southern Minnesota Offender Education Program in Mankato, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law.

Matthew A. Bartz, 34, of Blue Earth was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed three years, sentenced to jail 180 days, credit for time served 21 days, serve as work release if eligible, three years supervised probation, no misdemeanor or greater violations of the law, no misdemeanor moving violations, no mood-altering chemicals including alcohol, random testing.

Jennifer M. Rice, 42, of Easton was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $835, sentenced to jail eight days, credit for time served eight days. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.
