Owner responsible for food, water and shelter — Linda L. Carlson, 41, of Estherville, Iowa; fined $135.

Driving without a valid driver’s license for vehicle class or type — Sean D. Nyberg, 46, of Welcome; fined $185.

Tasha A. Copley, 20, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, community work service 24 hours for indeterminate, do counseling (two times per month), complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, remain law-abiding, obtain GED, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Also convicted of obstruct lawful execution of legal process; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 86 days for one year, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, remain law-abiding, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, follow all instructions of probation, go to counseling, remain law-abiding, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.

Christopher J. Delaney, 37, of Fairmont was convicted of theft-indifferent to owner rights; fined $100, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 320 days for two years, credit for time served 45 days, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, obtain employment, maintain employment, no assault or further violations of the law, participate in individual therapy to address mental health and follow all recommendations, complete domestic abuse batterers intervention program, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. One additional felony charge of theft-take or drive motor vehicle without owner consent, and two misdemeanor charges of domestic assault-subsequent violation, were all dismissed.

Michael J. Pepin, 28, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of domestic assault; fined $185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 23 months, supply DNA sample. An additional felony charge of domestic assault was dismissed.

Amber J. Schuld, 39, of Fairmont was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charges of driving after revocation, and obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer, were both dismissed.
