License plate not legible or obstructed — Michael R. Minich, 70, of St. James; fined $115.

Driver using headphones (both ears) — Jose A. Castro Tercero, 33, of Estherville, Iowa; fined $125.

Unsafe passing on right — Tyler L. Wingen, 30, of Good Thunder; fined $135.

Failure to stop at stop signs or stop lines at entrance to thru highway — Zachary R. Koch, 36, of Elmore; fined $135.

Spencer L. Gilmore, 20, of Alpha had a charge of disorderly conduct continued for dismissal; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no misdemeanor level or greater violations of the law.

Frank Garduno, 26, of Jackson was convicted of theft of motor fuel from retailer; fined $135, sentenced to jail 10 days, stayed eight days for one year, credit for time served two days, one year unsupervised probation, pay all fines, surcharges, court costs and restitution, court may propose a payment plan, no misdemeanor violations.

Gilberto Mayorga Cedillo, 28, of Fairmont was convicted of careless driving; fined $385, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year supervised probation, pay costs, no misdemeanor violations, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, attend MADD impact panel. Additional charges of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours, operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, speeding, and unreasonable acceleration, were all dismissed.
