Russell D. Olson, 53, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of solicit child or believe to be a child through electronic communication to engage in sexual conduct; fined $1,085, three years supervised probation, psychological-sexual evaluation, follow recommendations of evaluation, no contact with victim(s), no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, no contact with persons under the age of 18, all contact with minor female must have agent permission, don’t possess/use any pornographic/sexually explicit material, don’t access or use Internet without approval, don’t enter establishments that have sexual entertainment as its primary business, submit to polygraph examinations as directed, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact your probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign all releases of information as directed, give DNA sample when directed, do not use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Also convicted of lawful gambling fraud-claims prize by fraud, deceit or misrepresentation; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, concurrent with other case, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact your probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. One additional felony charge of prostitution-hire or agree to hire minor, and three additional misdemeanor charges of prostitution-patron offers or agree to hire person 18 or older, lawful gambling fraud-false information, and gambling-lessor of premises may not participate in lawful gambling at premises, were all dismissed.

Zed D. Dirks, 33, of Fairmont was convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams); fined $135. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.
