Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Larry J. Furland, 44, of Fairmont; fined $110.

Failure to drive with due care — Donald D. Bruckhoff, 63, of Wells; fined $125.

No Minnesota driver’s license — Tara A. Gannon, 39, of Dell Rapids, S.D.; fined $185.

Careless driving — Jeffery J. Roessler, 54, of Blue Earth; fined $385.

Christopher D. Mitchell, 35, of Blue Earth was convicted of fifth-degree assault-inflict or attempt bodily harm; sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 23 days, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate.

Kenneth A. Holmseth, 37, of Easton was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $385, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 361 days for two years, credit for time served four days, two years supervised probation, make efforts to obtain valid drivers license, work with Diversions Solutions, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.

Tharon J. Wetzel, 26, of Wells received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service three days for 180 days, complete chemical dependency evaluation within 30 days and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.

Justin L. Roberts, 28, of Wells had a charge of domestic abuse-violate No Contact Order continued for dismissal; fined $185, one year probation to the court, remain law-abiding, no same or similar.

Anthony C. Schultz, 27, of Winnebago was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $835, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 345 days for two years, credit for time served 20 days, two years supervised probation, sentence to service three days for 180 days, have an updated chemical use assessment and follow all recommendations, mental health evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law.
