Dog at large-second and subsequent offense — Lonny J. Palagi, 38, of Fairmont; fined $135.

Driving without a valid drivers license or vehicle class/type — Glorisel Rojas Rojas, 35, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle — Luis A. Garcia Sanchez, 27, of Fairmont; fined $285.

Exceed allowable 80,000 pound gross weight — Eric J. Sorenson, 43, of Sleepy Eye; fined $585.

Angel K. Bettin, 41, of Sherburn was convicted of issue dishonored check-offense; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, complete Lutheran Social Services financial counseling program, no same or similar, pay restitution, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, report to agent as directed, advise agent prior to changing employment and/or residence, cooperate and be truthful with agent in all matters, notify agent if arrested and/or issued a summons, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, don’t ship/transport/possess/receive firearms or ammunition.

Tara L. Kalash, 39, of Estherville, Iowa, was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $810, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served two days, serve as work release if eligible, serve with home detention/electronic monitoring if eligible, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, continue in therapy until appropriately discharged, disclose all prescription medications to the probation agent, attend MADD impact panel, remain law-abiding, follow all state and federal criminal laws, report to agent as directed, advise agent prior to changing employment and/or residence, cooperate and be truthful with agent in all matters, notify agent if arrested and/or issued a summons, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, don’t ship/transport/possess/receive firearms or ammunition, sign all releases of information. Additional charges of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours, driving while under the influence of alcohol, failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, and driving after revocation, were all dismissed.

Roger L. Matejka, 59, of Sherburn was convicted of expired proof of motor vehicle insurance; fined $200. Also convicted of display expired registration; fined $115. Also convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $115.

Alex H. Kallemeyn, 17, of Fairmont was convicted of vehicle window restrictions-tint too dark; fined $135. Also convicted of speeding; fined $60.
